John has nineteen years of conducting thorough analysis of environmental factors during volcanic eruptions–
These are factors such as gas emissions, acid rain, ground stability, lava flows, projectiles ejection, ash emissions, and lahar (mudflow) hazards.
These analyses have ensured safety of film crews, companies, local residents, and adventure travel clients in a complex and changing environment.
Problem solving and conflict resolution is an important part of my work when dealing with diverse cultures.
John has developed high level leadership skills doing the following:
Planning and leading volcano expeditions to remote areas throughout the Asia – Pacific region.
Consulting to the film and television industry.
Providing leadership and advice to television production companies on various aspects of volcano filming.
